WARM vs. QTUBE: do they sound the same?

Both the WARM and QTUBE voicings on the V803 are built around the tone of a classic vintage tube bass amp, and on a first pass they can seem identical. They're not quite. Here's the distinction: - WARM — Tube-like output character with a bottomless limiter. - QTUBE — Tube-like output character with ordinary clipping at high gains. The difference is really in how they behave dynamically. WARM's bottomless limiter helps keep the low end from bottoming out and the top end from choking or gagging (much like MODERN behaves). QTUBE swaps that limiter for a clipping circuit, so with your Gain up you can coax out more breakup.
