How to restore factory settings on Expanse

Restoring the defaults is a two-part process: reprogram the default effect, then reset the knob and switch behavior on the pedal. 1. Program the default effect using Expanse Software: - If you haven't already, install Expanse Software and connect your pedal over USB. - Make sure "Virtual Trim Pots" → "Hide and Use Defaults" is selected. - Under the Program menu, make sure none of the items are checked. - Select the effect category that matches your pedal. For non-specific pedals (Wet, Slate, etc.), choose Reverb. - Select the first effect in the list and click Update Effect. 2. Configure the default Mix knob and switch behavior on the pedal itself: - See the User Guide for how to set these behaviors. - The defaults for each effect type are listed under "Recommended & Default Functions per Effect type." - If you're using the ExP Controller, set these for each of the 4 effect slots.
