Why isn't my selectable footswitch working?

It's usually one of two things: - The cable. If the footswitch isn't responding at all, the CAT5 cable may have gone bad. Swap in a new one (any CAT5/6 with an RJ45 jack). - The switch assignments. Double-check what each switch is set to. If two switches are set to the same function, the footswitch won't behave correctly — it's like telling it to do on and off at the same time.
