Preset spillover is when the reverb from your current preset keeps decaying while a newly-recalled preset starts up. Doing that requires two processors (or one with twice the bandwidth) to run both reverbs in parallel while they overlap — and Illumine doesn't have that capability. That said, Illumine will transition smoothly between presets when both presets use the same effect algorithm and the same effect options — in other words, when only the five top-level parameters differ. In that case the parameters glide to their new settings with no break in the effect.
