There are two versions of the Immerse Reverberator: the original and the Mk II. Here's how the Mk II moved things forward.
Hardware and control changes:
- The Mix knob now reaches 100% wet fully clockwise. The original topped out around 50%.
- Slightly improved headroom on the wet signal.
- A more robust footswitch.
- The Kill Dry and Trails switches are recessed to avoid accidental switching.
How the effects compare (original → Mk II):
- Wet (Reboot / version 2, knob = modulation speed) → W3T (version 3, knob = pre-delay)
- Plate → Plate (unchanged)
- Hall (knob = modulation speed) → Hall (knob = modulation depth)
- Spring (knob = low cut) → Spring, updated (knob = modulation speed)
- Shimmer A → Sustain (new effect)
- Shimmer B → Reverb+Echo, updated reverb, echo now stereo
- Reverb+Echo (echo mono) → Reverb+Detune, updated reverb
- Reverb+Detune → Shimmer, which consolidates the original's Shimmer A & B and uses the updated W3T reverb
