A great starting point for any board is to run your effects in this order: drive → preamp → modulation → delay/echo → reverb → speaker simulator (if you're going direct) An all-Neunaber example looks like this: - Neuron Preamp → Inspire Tri-Chorus → Immerse Reverberator → Iconoclast Speaker Simulator A few things worth knowing: - A speaker simulator can often sit directly after the preamp instead. Two exceptions: shimmer and pitch shifters, which can sound harsh placed after a speaker sim. - With an amp, put your drive pedals in front of the amp's input, and your modulation/delay/reverb in the effects loop. - Gain pedals (overdrive, distortion, preamps) boost noise along with your signal, so most effects sound cleaner placed after them. This is just a jumping-off point — trust your ears and experiment.
