Some of our software hasn't been re-signed for the very latest macOS security features yet, so macOS may block it on first launch. You can safely allow it through:
- Open System Preferences from the Apple menu.
- Choose Security & Privacy.
- On the General tab, click the lock in the lower-left corner to allow changes.
- Enter your Mac username and password, then click Unlock.
- Next to the "…was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer" message, click Open Anyway.
- Click Open on the warning pop-up that follows.
(On newer macOS versions the same setting lives under System Settings → Privacy & Security, but the "Open Anyway" step is the same idea.)
