If your dry signal sounds fine but the wet/effect signal is too quiet, run through these:
- Running mono with a stereo pedal? Use only the #1 input and #1 output.
- Maxed-out reverb depth deliberately lowers the effect level to prevent overload — so backing off depth can bring it up.
- Too hot going in? If the signal level feeding the pedal is too high, the effect level gets limited and can sound squashed next to the dry signal. Turn the level down before the pedal, then make it back up afterward.
