Neuron Settings Guide — the 6 Sample Tones, Knob by Knob

These are the actual knob positions behind Neunaber's own Neuron sound samples — the settings you're hearing in the demos, straight off their sheet rather than reverse-engineered by ear. Six starting points across clean, funk, crunch, and djent, each one noting the guitar it was dialed in on, because on a pedal this responsive the guitar is half the setting. How to read this - Six knobs, ten controls. Look at the panel and you'll see it: the knobs are silkscreened gain/gate, low/tight, mid/tilt, high/pres. Hold the Engage footswitch and turn a knob and you're setting its alternate function instead. Both are live at the same time — which is why every dial below carries two needles. The solid gold one is the main control; the dashed one is its alternate. - Main controls: Gain, Comp, Level, and the three-band EQ — Low, Mid, High. - The alternates (hold Engage): Gate on the Gain knob · Tight on Low — a pre-gain high-pass, and the control that stops a high-gain setting collapsing into mush · Tilt on Mid — a global tilt EQ · Pres on High — a post-gain low-pass, the top-end polish. - The Speaker Simulator is a switch, not a knob position — it appears at the bottom of each panel. It's enabled on all six samples, which are direct-recorded: the sim is what makes a line out sound like a mic'd cab. Going into a real amp or cab instead?
