Can you plug the headphone out into a mixer or monitors?

Absolutely — the headphone out is made for headphones or any relatively line-level input, so mixers and monitors work fine. If your amp has a Line Out, we'd recommend using that instead. One important safety note: never plug the power output (the one designed for your speaker) into a mixer or other low-level input.
