Tone Block 202 vs. OverDrive 202: the voicings aren't the same

There's a common belief that the Tone Block 202 and the OverDrive 202 share identical voicings, and that the only real difference is the OD202's two channels (clean and overdrive). Not quite! They have plenty in common, but their voicings each go their own way. Here's the breakdown: Tone Block 202 - FRFR — A flat response with speaker dampening. Ideal if you're running modeling rigs and/or cab sims. - FULLQ — Brings out a more "honest" tone from your guitar while adding warmth in the speakers. - VINT — A Fender-style tone stack with extra bass and chime. OverDrive 202 - Voice 1 — An honest, natural take on your guitar's tone. Similar to the TB202's FULLQ, but with a touch more treble. - Voice 2 — A bell-like tone that tightens up chord definition in both clean and overdrive settings.
