SIG OUT vs. DIRECT OUT on the Tone Block 202

The Tone Block 202 gives you two ways to feed an outside source like a PA or mixer: the SIG OUT on the front and the DIRECT OUT on the back. They do similar jobs, so here's how they differ: - SIG OUT — A balanced, TRS line-level output that is not affected by the Master setting. It also carries cab sim on the FULLQ and VINT voicings. - DIRECT OUT — A mic-level, isolated signal meant to stand in for putting a microphone in front of your speaker. Its level matches what a typical mic puts out, and instead of cab sim it uses your actual speaker as part of the tone shaping. The SIG OUT shines for "silent stage" setups where you don't want the speaker in play. It's also handy for sending the house feed while your speaker cab doubles as your monitor. One note: the OverDrive 202 does not have a Direct Out, only the Sig Out.
